'Taro - Prawns (Chembu - Chemmeen) Curry Ingredients: 1. Prawns - 1/2 kg 2. Taro & Taro stem  3. Shallot 4. Ginger 5. Red chilli 6. Curry leaves 7. Fish tamarind 8. Coconut oil / Sunflower oil 9. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp 10. Chilli powder - 3 tsp 11. Water & Salt as required Preparation: 1. Cook the Prawns adding turmeric powder, salt & water as required till it gets half cooked. 2. Heat a mud kadayi with coconut oil / Sunflower oil. 3. Add red chilli, ginger, shallot & curry leaves and saute well adding sufficient salt to it. 4. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder and saute well. 5. Add fish tamarind & sufficient water and let it boil. 6. Now add chopped taro & taro stem (chembu & chembu thandu) and half cooked prawns to it and mix well. 7. Cook till taro (chembu) gets well cooked in medium flame.
